Dinner Programs Highlight Educational Activities

by Kelly Comp

We had many successful dinner programs throughout the year but the highlight event was the Journal Club Mixer.

We offered food and wine and had an informative roundtable discussion about an article reviewing delirium in geriatric patients.

Our Annual Business Meeting was held June 8, 2017. Some new faces joined us and other members traveled quite far to attend. We introduced the new Board members and discussed goals for the chapter.

I expressed my interest to create a Facebook page for our chapter to allow for easier access to members and information. Another goal is to increase student membership and involvement which helps with community building.

The members expressed mutual interest on working on increased student membership and involvement.

We are excited to try some new things this year to keep SEWGAPNA going!
