Texas Gulf Coast

September Meeting, November Walk Planned

by Elizabeth Godlove

The Texas Gulf Coast Chapter has had an eventful Spring and Summer.

Secretary/Treasurer Maureen Beck represented the chapter at the GAPNA Pharmacology Conference in April. She will be presenting pearls from the program at our September meeting. At the same meeting, we plan on having a CE event.

One of our members is preparing a program on “Pain Management in Long-Term Care” based on her capstone project. Further information will follow soon. We are organizing a team to participate in the Houston Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser on November 5.

Wish us luck in fundraising and walking and look up the Godlove’s Gang team on the Walk Website.
