Golf Tournament

The GAPNA Foundation hosts an annual scramble Golf Tournament. Members and Friends of the Foundation with a wide range of skills enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship that raises money for the GAPNAF Awards. Prizes are given for the winning team, longest drives for men and women, longest putt and the closest to the pin. So, consider playing golf! Players of all levels are welcome because it is a scramble/best ball with no pressure. The goal is to have fun and enjoy the day together raising money for The GAPNA Foundation.

2017 The Foundation Golf Tournament was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville, TN.
2016 The Foundation's Golf tournament was held at the Arizona Grand Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ.
2015 The Foundation held a tournament at the Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, TX.
2014 The Foundation held a tournament at the Falcon Fire Golf Club in Orlando.

2012 The 7th Annual Foundation Best Ball Golf Tournament was held at Arroyo Golf Club course in Las Vegas, NV.
2011 The 6th Annual Foundation Best Ball Golf Tournament was held at East Potomac Blue course on the Potomac River.
2010 The 5th Annual Foundation Best Ball Golf Tournament was held at Sandia Golf Club.
2009 The 4th GAPNAF golf tournament at the PGA course, The Club, at Savannah Harbor, GA was a smashing success! The fairways were very long, the greens were very fast, the water, swamps and sand traps were massive, and the players were all very tired at the end of the day. BUT, all 20 golfers had a wonderful time!

Fun Walk/Run

The early morning GAPNAF Fun Walk/Run is a favorite feature of the Foundation. While raising money for the annual awards these Foundation Friends get their busy conference day started with a self-paced workout of 2-3K, depending on the setting. So pack your athletic shoes and join our GAPNAF Fun Walk/Run its a win-win event.

2011 Moonlight Trolley Tour that included stops at the Iwo Jima Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and Vietnam Veteran's Memorial with professional tour guides that shared historical tales and anecdotes about the Washington DC's history.
2010 Foundation Trip to the Balloon Museum that included an opportunity to tour the museum, and see a demonstration of a hot air balloon glow
2009 Foundation Friends Historic Trolley Tour - 140 GAPNA members and friends took a 4-car Trolley Tour of the lovely Savanna GA historic district on Saturday evening to raise funds for the Foundation Scholarships. It was a beautiful evening, despite the snarled traffic and police blockades due to a 5K Run that was scheduled at the same time! GAPNA made the best of it and trolleyed on!
