I became active in the GAPNA Gero Psych Sig and was encouraged by Dr. Peraza Smith, to become certified as a Gerontological Specialist and take on leadership roles with the organization. I am excited to start my journey with the GAPNA Leadership Institute in the upcoming months and look forward to my continued future with GAPNA.
