Beyond the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit, January 25, 2018, 4-5 PM EST. The Medicare Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) remains an underutilized copay-free visit available to patients:  in 2014, only 15% of eligible patients received an AWV. Despite this overall underutilization, approximately 40% of primary care clinicians reported performing an AWV in 2014.
