Sabrina Kopf, DNP, CRNP, ACNP-BC is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Program, where she also serves as co-specialty track coordinator. Since joining UAB SON in 2014 as an adjunct faculty member, Dr. Kopf transitioned to a full-time role in 2021 and continues to inspire students in advanced practice nursing. She maintains a faculty practice as a nurse practitioner with the Division of Infectious Disease at UAB Hospital, focusing on infection prevention in pre-transplant patients and managing infections post-transplant. Dr. Kopf serves on the Board of Trustees for the Alabama Chapter of the International Transplant Nurses Society (AC-ITNS) and has been Program Planning Chair for the International Transplant Nurses Society. In 2026, she will begin her role as Director at Large for ITNS. She was also named the 2023–2024 Interprofessional Fellow at UAB SON.
