GAPNA is seeking dedicated members to serve as Chairs for our committees for the upcoming term. Serving as a Committee Chair is a rewarding leadership opportunity to shape the direction of GAPNA initiatives, influence professional practice, and contribute to the advancement of geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading committee meetings and activities
  • Collaborating with committee members to achieve strategic goals
  • Reporting progress to GAPNA leadership
  • Supporting initiatives that advance nursing practice, education, and advocacy for older adults

Qualifications:

  • Current GAPNA membership in good standing
  • Experience in the committee’s area of focus (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
