Heritage to Health: Harnessing the Power of the Arts for End-of-Life Care

Heritage to Health is a unique and moving eLearning course that showcases how stories, poetry, sculpture, video clips, and other art forms can serve as powerful clinical tools. Through the perspectives of diverse artists, folklorists, storytellers, and tradition bearers, learners discover how the Arts can bridge cultural differences, foster trust, and strengthen meaningful connections between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
The course highlights key elements of cultural awareness, knowledge, skills, and humility—supporting more culturally sensitive, individualized, and compassionate end-of-life care.
Intended Audience:
All members of the healthcare team interested in strengthening cultural responsiveness and enhancing end-of-life care practice.
