Hospital Ratings and Reviews Engine for Older Adults and Family Caregivers
The Age-Friendly Institute has announced the launch of a hospital ratings and reviews engine on its website AgeFriendly.org
The website health section includes quality ratings for all U.S. hospitals and notes those that are recognized as Age-Friendly Health Systems participants by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Age-friendly care is care that is safe and based on the most important things to pay attention to as we age — the 4Ms: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, Mobility.
Older adults and family members are encouraged to provide feedback about what matters when receiving health care. AgeFriendly.org’s deployment of this platform to capture customer satisfaction from older adults aims to advance awareness of age-friendly care and heighten its prioritization among administrators.
