GAPNA Foundation Presents 2020 Awards for Research and Scholarship

By Jennifer Serafin

Each year, the GAPNA Foundation organizes conference fundraising events to support research and scholarship awards and grants. Due to the coronavirus, the 2020 conference was virtual, so we could not hold our usual fundraising events.

However, we did receive chapter donations (in lieu of the gift basket contributions), as well as member donations in support of our "Year of the Nurse" fundraiser. These GAPNA member donations are the mainstay of Foundation fundraising. A special thank you to everyone who contributed during these challenging times.

The GAPNA Foundation's mission is to promote research, scholarship, and education for advanced practice nurses who serve older adults. We are proud to announce the 2020 award recipients.
