Opportunity for Peer Review of Continuing Education Materials

The GAPNA Education Committee is offering the opportunity to systematically review continuing nursing education materials for inclusion on the GAPNA Website.

The purpose is to provide easy access to peer-reviewed resources for advanced practice nurses and GAPNA members needing continuing educational credits. Examples may include a continuing education module developed by a GAPNA chapter, a school of nursing, a module based on a grant-funded project, an interactive video, an educational video, and e-learning materials.

GAPNA members will be encouraged to contact the GAPNA Education Committee chair when requesting modules to be vetted. The committee requests that content submitted for review be relevant for the advanced practice nurse caring for older adults. The brief synopsis of the review will be published on the GAPNA Exchange and periodically on the website with links to the digital media.

For nursing faculty, having evidence of your peer-reviewed digital scholarship may be an asset for inclusion on your academic reports that you submit annually or for promotion and tenure.
