Age-Friendly Health Systems Lecture: Getting to Scale
Providence St. Joseph Health System has released a video of Amy Berman’s 10th Annual Distinguished Nursing Lectureship, “Age-Friendly Health Systems: Getting to Scale.”
Amy Berman, RN, LHD, FAAN, is a Senior Program Officer with The John A. Hartford Foundation. During the lecture, she discussed what it means to be an age-friendly health system, and the important role nurses play in creating a model of care for older adults across the continuum of care.
She shared how Providence St. Joseph Health was one of the five pioneer health systems of the Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative, which is now being implemented in health systems around the country.
