Foundation Events

Foundation Events for the 2018 GAPNA Annual Conference

Several entertaining events will be held during GAPNA’s Annual Conference to support the Foundation’s education and research efforts. Join the fun and support the GAPNA Foundation!

The GAPNA Foundation Annual Golf Outing will take place at Westfields Golf Club in Chantilly, VA, on Wednesday September 26, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. Rain or shine! We welcome all golfers for a day of fun and laughs as we play best ball golf. Cost $150. Club rentals are available at the pro shop and there is a full-service restaurant available for lunch. We will meet to carpool from the hotel’s main lobby at noon.

The Fun Run/Walk will take place on Friday, September 28 from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. through the lovely Woodley neighborhood of Washington, DC. We will meet in the main lobby at 6:00 a.m. We challenge all chapters to see who can get the most participants out of bed that early in the morning! Cost: $25.

Join the Foundation Board Friday, September 28 for the DC at Dusk Monuments Tour; an evening of exploration and fun viewing many of the famous DC monuments by tour bus. Sites include White House (north grounds), WWII Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

We will get on and off at selected sites so you can see the monuments up close. Cost: $70.00. We will be boarding the buses starting at 6:45 p.m., the last bus will leave at 7:00 p.m. The tour will last until approximately 10:30 p.m.
