Abstract Writing Session and Cash Cab Planned at Annual Conference

by Ann Kriebel

The Research Committee has been busy this year planning a session on “How to Write an Award Winning Abstract.” If you are a student performing your first project or an experienced researcher who would like some “pearls” about writing an abstract for a poster or podium presentation or as a manuscript, mark your calendar for Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. during GAPNA’s Annual Conference. Attendees will also learn how to review abstracts to discover if the article or presentation is worth their interest.

The Research Committee will also have a special treat for those who are research savvy or those who just want to give it a try! Look for the “Cash Cab” (beep beep!) traveling in the Exhibit Hall and be ready to answer some questions about the conference, GAPNA, or research! Three lucky winners will receive a 1-year membership to GAPNA, and 10 runners up will receive $10 gift certificates.  Visit the Cash Cab booth for more info!
