An Alternative to Warfarin in LTC

This lecture will review anticoagulants and management considerations in the long-term care (LTC) setting, and present an alternative to warfarin for reducing the risk of stroke in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation and for treating deep vein thrombosis/pulmonary embolism.
