GAPNA extends its thoughts and prayers to our members and all who are affected by the catastrophic effects of Hurricanes Irma and Harvey.
The hurricanes have displaced tens of thousands of people with an overwhelming number of them in desperate need of various forms of aid, including shelter, food, medical supplies, and more.
GAPNA thanks you for your generosity.
Here's a list of some of the organizations that are undertaking this work and how you can contribute to them.
- American Nurses Foundation - The ‘Disaster Relief’ Fund supports nurses in their disaster response and recovery in southeastern Texas, the Virgin Islands, Florida and other states affected by the recent disasters. 100% of the funds raised will be distributed to charities on the ground to benefit those in need as soon as possible.
- Deploy with the American Red Cross - The Red Cross is actively seeking health and mental health professionals to assist in the affected areas.
- Donate to the American Red Cross - All donations are tax deductible.
